Lifestyle Session Family Photography
When Jonathan and I moved to Henderson, Tennessee in 2007, Brad and Kristi were some of the first people we met. The four of us made up two-thirds of a marketing office, and it took no time for them to become dear friends. Back then, we were graphic designers, web designers, PR people, and whatevertheheck Brad did, and I think Brad's the only one with that same job title. :) We haven't lived in the same city since 2011, and they'll always be the people that make us miss Henderson most.
Since then, they've had two adorable kiddos and started this tiny little project called Kid President and are now moving on to their own thing with Montague Workshop! They've done so much amazing work with their passion and influenced quite literally millions of people. So getting to do some photos for them while also spending the whole day hanging out was like merging all my favorite things into one awesomely-renovated warehouse. Actually, it was exactly that.
Here are some of my favorites from their session.
This photo of Brad and Matilda makes my heart melt.
They're so cute, I just can't handle it!
After a while of playing with the kiddos, we shifted the focus a bit to their new endeavor with Montague Workshop, so we got some photos of them working, too.
Kristi has this incredible skill that she can make pretty much anything out of cardboard. I hoked with Jonathan on the way there that the workshop was probably cardboard. Come to find out, she's also made a cardboard replica of the workshop!
So thankful for a day to spend with these amazing friends. And if you haven't already, check out this video, which was their first to release under their own names!
