This was one of my favorite weddings I shot this year. Amy + Eric's fall wedding at Terian Farms took place on a beautiful day — warm in the sunlight, cool in the shade — and I just loved spending it with them.
Their officiant put it perfectly when she said we were there to celebrate the union of a poet and a planner, because Amy and Eric are each other's perfect complement, and their fall wedding at Terian Farms suited them beautifully.
Amy and Eric chose to have a first look to make their day flow better, which allowed more time for photos. I love how obviously impressed Eric was with how amazing his bride looked.
And who are we kidding? She does look stunning. Work it, Amy!
Amy and Eric's ceremony was beautiful in every way. It combined aspects of several different religions that they have roots in, Eric's mom walked him down the aisle, their officiant did an incredible job, poetry was read. It was sincere and lovely and fully them.
Oh, and Amy's dad hurt his knee before their wedding, so they came to the ceremony in a golf cart, and it was awesome.
They took swing dancing lessons for their first dance, and don't you love how Amy's dress transformed to something easier to wear for their party?!
